Stay tuned for pole vault videos in the coming week.

At the North Canyon invitational our vaulters had a down day. The one exception was Ryan Jones who cleared a personal best of 12' but the wind pushed the pole into the crossbar. The meet official in my opinion should have awarded him the height. Ryan has worked hard on his top and is clearing 13' rather easily in practice.

Good news, Cori W. has decided to postpone her knee surgery and will vault this season. She is already clearing 10' in practice. Which is already 3" higher than her school record.

Ryan Jones set a new PR against Goldwater clearing 12'6'.  He will be the first athlete I have coached to reach the 13 feet.  Jarred Ridder also set a new PR of 10'.  He is improving fast.

Cori cleared a more than respectable 9' winning the girls competition.  Just 9" under her PR she is on her way to break her record repeatedly in spite of not having an ACL in her right leg.
